Time and date: 12.30 – 4pm 12 April 2019
Location: St John’s House, University of St Andrews, South St, St Andrews.
Please join the British Institute of Persian Studies its 2019 Spring Roundtable. This annual event showcases the work by recent recipients of BIPS grants. A select number of our funded scholars will present papers and answer questions about their research. BIPS funds all aspects of humanities and social science research on Iran and the wider Persianate world through its grants programme.
The Roundtable will start with a sandwich lunch at 12.30 in the Undercroft, then presentations in the New Seminar Room from 1pm. Coffee will also be served at 2.30pm. We ask for a £5 contribution to cover catering costs, payable in cash on the day. Spaces are very limited, so please email the Executive Officer (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you’d like to attend
This event is being held in St Andrews in order to tie in with the Symposia Iranica’s Fourth Biennial Early Career Scholars’ Conference and the Roundtable will end in good time to attend the keynote lecture on 12 April. BIPS is proud to act as the principal sponsor to the event. For more information please see the Symposia Iranica’s website.
