Join us on 8 July 2019 for a discussion by Dr Kamyar Abdi at the BIPS Institute in Tehran. His seminar will cover the military and political strategies employed by the Sassanians.

Dr Kamyar Abdi is an archaeologist and scholar of ancient Iran, and has taught in Iran and the United States. He was a Scholar in Residence at the Jordan Centre for Persian Studies at University of California, Irvine. He is now at the Archaeological Research Centre of the ICHHTO (Iranian Cultural Heritage Handicraft and Tourism Organisation).
